Yes, we strongly recommend it. Washing the cloth before the first use will allow the cotton to fully develop its properties and improve its absorbency. Additionally, the cloth will shrink considerably to its final size during the first wash.

DIRTY JACK can be washed in the washing machine. Wash dark cloths with dark laundry and light cloths with light laundry. Do not use bleach, as this can damage the cotton and colors.

The tea towels can be washed at up to 60 °C. In principle, even up to 95 °C, should that ever be necessary. In practice, we see that boil washing is almost no longer done.

Yes, you can. However, experience shows that due to their relative stiffness, the cloths come out of the dryer quite wrinkled. DIRTY JACK doesn't look any better for it ;-). Air drying is recommended. Shake the cloth firmly before hanging it up when it's still damp to prevent the worst wrinkles.

The cotton cloth will shrink during the first washes. We have taken this into account when determining the size of the cloth. After washing, the size of the cloth will be approximately 55 x 65 cm.
